New Community Primary School for 270 pupils included demolishing paddling pool, with associated external works including new access with bus pull in and drop off, also car parking for staff and visitors and new culvert diversion. BREAAM Excellent
The new Cwmaman 3-11 primary school opened in September 2018, welcoming pupils from the former Cwmaman Infants’ and Glynhafod Junior Schools.
The new school site off Glanaman Road includes a new build school, staff car park, parent/pupil drop off area, two Multi Use Games Areas (MUGAs), grass pitches and a community room.
In addition, the relocation and remodelling of the play area was completed as part of the project and is being well used by the local community.
